I am the Owner
That's me, Ashley owner of Irie Sea Moss. I was introduced to sea moss in 2018 through my aunty who regularly travels back to St Lucia. During this time my diet was evolving from a vegetarian to a whole food plant-based diet. My aunty thought it would be beneficial for me to start consuming sea moss due to its well known holistic health properties.
Sea moss has been a staple in St. Lucia since the late 1970’s and popularly known for its holistic health properties, such as great for; skin & hair care, natural energy, improving: roughage, libido and fertility. On return from her visit, my aunty brought back sea moss and educated me on the benefits and taught me methods to turn into a gel form.
I started to consuming sea moss daily, simply by adding a 1-3 TBSP to: herbal tea, smoothie, porridge and directly to face & beard. I was consistently with this, and over 3 months, I reaped the benefits of: consistent energy levels throughout the day, my beard was growing back thicker and faster and my nails started to grow back faster & stronger, furthermore my family & friends noticed how my skin looked more clear and radiant.

This initiative focuses on coastal and marine ecosystem conservation and sustainable livelihoods, highlighting the importance of protecting coastlines and the symbiotic relationship between mangroves and local workers within the 138-hectare Pointe Sable Environmental Protection Area (PSEPA). Supported by the European Union (ENV/2016/380-530), it aims to ensure sustainable income while overcoming threats to livelihoods.
